Mark Yost is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Proud Moments and has more than 20 years of legal, regulatory, operational, and compliance leadership in healthcare. His experience in healthcare beyond ABA includes long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, physician practices, dialysis, drug treatment, pharmacy and laboratory services. His legal background has enabled him to litigate complex matters essential to business operations as well as critical regulatory disputes. Prior to joining Proud Moments, Mark practiced law as a partner at a large national law firm and owned and operated his own law practice. Prior to that, Mark served as CEO of a regional and innovative healthcare company that saw the integration of healthcare operations for a chain of integrated long-term nursing facilities. Mark helped guide that company through two major acquisitions as well as the record-breaking sale of those assets. Mark also has significant public sector experience, including a background in lobbying and having served as a staffer both on Capitol Hill and in the Maryland legislature. Mark is licensed to practice law in New York, Maryland and Washington D.C.. He earned a Juris Doctor from University of Maryland, a Master’s in Public Policy from American University, and a Batchelor’s of Science from Towson University. He is also Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by the Compliance Certification Board.
